About Us

Gold Bar Cafe is an intimate little spot hidden inside the City Mill building on Morrison street, just a step back from Hobart’s waterfront. Stroll up the laneway and you’ll meet a small team passionate about providing high quality coffee, wholesome food and friendly service. Grab a seat in our cosy café, find a spot in the open atrium of the historic City Mill, or enjoy some takeaway on the wharf or in a nearby park.

Liz – the lady who runs the show – is always keen to provide good people with yummy drinks, delicious house-cooked meals, daily specials and a rotating menu featuring seasonal produce and fabulous surprises!
